I am a Level 2 Gottman Method 

Couples Therapist.

Having completed my Masters level education at Long Island University, C.W. Post, Brookville, NY, and an advanced post-grad training at ICP, Institute For Contemporary Psychotherapies in NYC, I am in private practice for over 10 years.

 

My approach is psychodynamic, which enables me to look at your current situation through the lens of your past experiences.  I integrate Solution Focused therapy to achieve goals efficiently.  I teach Mindfulness techniques so my clients have tools that sustain long term changes.

The Gottman Institute has provided me an effective emotion-focused approach to working with couples.

During my 12+ years of counseling, I have worked and trained extensively in Addiction Treatment, in Couples Counseling, and am currently focusing on Pre-Marital Counseling as a proactive approach to healthy relationships.
